Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Backs Tinubu for 2027 Elections

During a rally in Kano State, Governor Abba Yusuf reaffirmed the state's unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). He declared that the APC remains the only political party capable of governing both Kano State and Nigeria, particularly in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.

Yusuf dismissed the potential of opposition parties, including the African Democratic Congress, to challenge the APC's dominance in the state. He pledged loyalty to Tinubu's re-election bid and highlighted the administration's commitment to improving the economy, infrastructure, education, health, and agriculture.

Yusuf also called on eligible voters to register with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in preparation for the elections. The rally saw a massive turnout, indicating strong public support for the governor, with reports noting that his convoy took several hours to navigate the route to the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport due to the large crowd.
