Kano Court Sentences Ayuba Sani Tumfafi to 10 Years

A Kano State High Court has sentenced Ayuba Sani Tumfafi to 10 years in a correctional centre for the unlawful killing of his friend, Ibrahim Dan Larai. The incident occurred following a disagreement over waking up for the early morning Fajr prayer.
Justice Dije Abdu Aboki presided over the case at High Court No. 1 and delivered the judgment after reviewing evidence presented. The prosecution, led by counsel Amina Uba Adamu, provided three witnesses and three exhibits to support their case, while Tumfafi defended himself against the charge.
The court found Tumfafi guilty of unlawful killing and imposed a 10-year sentence, during which he is also required to pursue both Islamic and Western education.
