Kano Emir Calls for Prayers to Combat Insecurity in Nigeria

Emir Aminu Ado Bayero of Kano has urged Nigerians to engage in collective prayers to combat insecurity and restore peace across the country. This call was made during a special prayer session held at the Nassarawa Palace in Kano, attended by hundreds from the Qadiriyya Islam Movement.

The Emir, in a statement signed by his press secretary, Abubakar Balarab Kofar Naisa, highlighted the critical need for divine intervention in addressing the nation's challenges. He dedicated the prayers to seek Allah's guidance for the country, emphasizing that insecurity remains a significant concern.

The Emir also commended Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for promoting unity among residents. The prayer session, organized during the Ramadan period, was significant for seeking God's guidance for peace and economic prosperity in Nigeria.

Additionally, prayers were offered for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking for wisdom and success in tackling the country's economic and security challenges.
