Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Strengthens Security Commitment

On Sunday, during a traditional Sallah homage at the government house, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf reiterated his administration's unwavering commitment to strengthening security across the state. He emphasized that protecting lives and property remains a top priority for his administration.

The governor received Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, who was accompanied by a delegation of district heads and members of the emirate council. In his remarks, Governor Yusuf acknowledged the critical role of peace and stability in driving sustainable development and assured that proactive measures would be implemented to enhance security architecture.

He called for collaboration with security agencies and the promotion of community-based initiatives aimed at curbing crime and maintaining law and order across the 44 local government areas of Kano State. Additionally, he urged parents to focus on properly raising their children to foster a society filled with good values and responsible leaders for the future.

Emir Sanusi II commended the state government for its achievements in the education sector and pledged continued support for efforts to maintain peace and stability.
