Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Launches APC E-Registration Exercise for Party Strengthening

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf initiated the All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration exercise to bolster internal democracy and increase party membership. The launch, which followed his rejoining the party, occurred at the Coronation Hall of the Government House in Kano.

Governor Yusuf emphasized the exercise's transparency, inclusivity, and technology-driven design to modernize the party's administrative processes and ensure credible membership records. He urged party members to participate actively and commended the APC leadership for deploying digital tools for the registration exercise.

The e-registration exercise is expected to cover all wards in the state, providing a seamless platform for members to register and update their details. Governor Yusuf's defection to the APC had caused a political realignment in Kano State, leading several elected officials and party members to defect alongside him, including 22 state lawmakers and eight members of the House of Representatives.
