Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Reshuffles Cabinet Advisers

On Thursday, Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State announced a minor cabinet reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery. The reshuffle involved the reassignment of several special advisers and the appointment of new aides.

Notably, Habiba Barwa was appointed as the Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs, while Umar Akawu was reassigned from the Special Adviser on Liaison Office in Abuja to a special advisory role. Other significant changes included Akibu Isa Murtala moving to the Special Adviser on Administration at the Governor's Office, and Ibrahim Adam taking on the role of Special Adviser on Human Resources.

New appointments also included Bello Nuhu as Special Adviser on Administration and various others in roles related to public service and non-governmental organizations. The governor emphasized the need for the new appointees to justify the confidence placed in them and to commit to the welfare of the people of Kano State.
