NNPP Founder Clarifies Kano Governor's Resignation from Kwankwasiya Movement, Not Party

The founder of NNPP, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, clarified that Kano Governor Abba Yusuf's resignation was from the Kwankwasiya movement within the party, not the party itself.

This clarification came in response to reports of Yusuf's resignation along with other political figures in Kano State. Aniebonam highlighted that the NNPP National Working Committee does not recognize the Kwankwasiya movement within the party.

The governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Tofa, confirmed the resignation letter addressed the Kwankwasiya movement's leadership. Aniebonam maintained that Yusuf's resignation from political office does not align with NNPP's leadership.
