Kwankwaso Criticizes Governor Yusuf's NNPP Resignation as Betrayal Amid APC Optimism

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a leader of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), condemns Governor Abba Yusuf's resignation from NNPP, labeling it a betrayal of trust. The NNPP's National Public Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, dismisses Yusuf's claims of a party crisis as baseless.

In response, Governor Yusuf's spokesperson, Sanusi Batur, announces his resignation. The NNPP recalls historical instances of political defection in Kano, citing Alhaji Abubakar Rimi's past actions.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) expresses hope that Yusuf will officially join their party soon. Ibrahim Zakari Sarina, the APC State Secretary, welcomes Yusuf's potential move to APC.

The NNPP emphasizes its recent electoral successes and accuses Yusuf of jeopardizing the party's progress.
