Kano Governor's Suspension of Files Sparks Administrative Concerns Amid Defection Plot

Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has allegedly ordered ministries and agencies in the state to suspend the submission of official files, leading to concerns of administrative paralysis. This directive comes amidst intense political activities as the governor is rumored to be planning to defect to the Nigeria People's Party (NNPP).

The move has raised worries about delayed government operations, affecting crucial matters like procurement of medical supplies and disaster response. Senior Kano-based lawyer Sagir Gezawa highlighted the negative impact on land administration and investor confidence.
