Kano Governor's Defection Triggers Political Crisis: Deputy and Lawmakers Resign

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje's defection from the NNPP to the APC has sparked a political crisis in the state. Following his announcement, his deputy, Yusuf, and 22 members of the Kano State House of Assembly, eight members of the House of Representatives, and 44 local government chairmen tendered their resignations.
