Kano State Government Boosts Oxygen Access in Health Facilities for Improved Healthcare Outcomes

The Kano State Ministry of Health is intensifying efforts to ensure a consistent and proper supply of oxygen in health facilities. Stakeholders, including senior officials, health experts, and representatives from KEI Health Institute, convened in Kaduna to review and enhance the state's medical oxygen strategy.

The focus is on strengthening infrastructure, technical capacity, and supply chains to prevent patient deaths due to oxygen shortages. Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is leading the initiative to implement a structured plan for efficient oxygen production, distribution, and maintenance across healthcare levels in Kano State.
