Kano State Government Trains Health Workers in Hypertension and Diabetes Care

The Kano State Ministry of Health has launched a comprehensive training program for healthcare workers in 100 primary healthcare centers in Nigeria as part of the Nigeria Hypertension Control Initiative (NHCI) to strengthen the early detection and management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like hypertension and diabetes. The program aims to equip two healthcare workers in every 100 additional primary healthcare centers, with a total of 410 centers benefiting from the training to enhance hypertension and diabetes services.
