Kano Government Dismisses Sagagi's Allegations Against Yusuf

The Kano State government has officially rejected allegations made by former commissioner Shehu Wada Sagagi, who claimed that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's recent political moves were motivated by fear of losing a second-term ticket with the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, the state's Commissioner for Information, described Sagagi's comments as unfounded and an attempt to mislead the public.

The government asserted that Governor Yusuf's political realignment is not driven by fear but is aimed at promoting peace, unity, and development in Kano State. The administration emphasized its commitment to the welfare of the people, infrastructural development, and economic growth, urging the public to disregard Sagagi's claims as they do not reflect the true state of affairs.

The government maintains a strong political stance and a proven track record of service delivery, insisting that it will not be distracted by what it termed as baseless claims from unpatriotic elements.
