Kano Lawmaker Mobilizes Clerics for Tinubu's Prayer Session

A Kano lawmaker, Jibrin, organized a prayer session for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which took place at a mosque in Kofa Bebeji Local Government. The event drew 2,000 clerics from across the region and was led by Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, the chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

During the sermon, Prof. Usman commended the clerics for their steadfastness and devotion, urging them to continue praying for the nation's leaders. He described President Tinubu as a capable choice among contenders and encouraged faith in supporting the leader's priorities for unity and development.

Jibrin expressed gratitude to the clerics and highlighted Tinubu's longstanding support for the northern region, noting the president's consistent investments in regional progress. The event followed a large gathering at Jibrin's residence, where he launched a house-to-house campaign aimed at reaching every household in Kano South and across the state, as he seeks a fifth term as a House of Representatives member.
