Kano Pilgrim Welfare Board Mourns Fatal Accident Victims

The Kano State Pilgrim Welfare Board expressed profound sorrow over the deaths of two intended pilgrims, Alkasim Ibrahim Walawa, aged 48, and his mother, Hadiza Garba, aged 73. They were involved in a fatal car accident along the Rimin Gado-Kano road.

Alkasim, who survived by two wives and seven children, and Hadiza, who had five children, were both from Walawa Village in the Kabo Local Government Area of Kano State. The board's public relations officer, Sulaiman Dederi, confirmed the tragic incident in a statement on Tuesday.

The board highlighted the heartbreak of losing individuals who were on a noble journey to the holy land for pilgrimage. They prayed for Allah's forgiveness for the deceased and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, asking for strength and patience during this difficult time.
