Kano Police Nab 107 Criminals in August, Recover Weapons and Drugs

Kano State Police Command disclosed the arrest of 107 suspected criminals in August 2025 for various crimes, including armed robbery, kidnapping, and drug trafficking. Police Commissioner CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori revealed the recovery of weapons, ammunition, vehicles, and illicit drugs during the operations.

The arrests were part of the ongoing Operation Kukan Kura, aimed at combating crime in the state. CP Bakori urged residents to report any criminal activities promptly to the police, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining security and reducing criminal activities.
