Kano State Prepares for President Tinubu's Visit

Kano State is set to host President Bola Ahmad Tinubu, with preparations reaching a peak as the metropolitan area undergoes a transformation featuring new billboards and banners. These displays include images of President Tinubu, former INEC Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, while notably omitting images of the Kwankwasiyya movement leader Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso.

Governor Yusuf is leading the welcome committee for the presidential visit, which is being organized by Muhammad Garba, a personal aide to Ganduje. The welcome ceremony will take place at Kofar Mata Stadium.

Sanusi Batur Dawakintofa, the Director General of Media at the Kano Government House, has called on the general public to ensure safety and calm, advising against carrying weapons to the gathering. This event is seen as a significant moment for the state as it undergoes a transformation under Governor Yusuf's leadership.
