TikToker Appointed Local Government Chair After Controversy

Yusuf Imam Ogan has been appointed as the chairman of the Nasarawa Local Government Council's Women Affairs. This appointment was confirmed by Ado Moha Hotoro, the council's secretary, in a letter dated Thursday.

The decision was based on Ogan's contributions and commitment to the growth of the local government. Ogan gained attention during the governor's campaign period for her visible support, which ultimately contributed to the governor's electoral victory.

However, she faced controversy last week for leading an underwear display that mocked Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso. Following the backlash, she issued an apology and promised not to repeat such actions.

The state government distanced itself from the display, stating it was against the culture and religion of the people in the state.
