Kareem Secures APC Nomination for Oyo Governorship Race

Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem has formally obtained the governorship nomination form from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest in the 2027 Oyo State governorship election.

This move, made at the APC national headquarters in Abuja, reflects his commitment to democratic ideals and the party's credibility. Kareem stated that his governorship bid is driven by a clear vision for the state, aiming to unlock the potential of every citizen and enhance industrial development.

He expressed confidence in securing the party's ticket, highlighting ongoing consultations with stakeholders across all 33 local government areas. Kareem aims to challenge the current administration of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) led by Governor Seyi Makinde, promising leadership that is transparent, proactive, and focused on human capital development.
