Emir of Zuru Calls for Prayers to Combat Insecurity

On Friday, the Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sami, Gomo III, renewed his call for intensified prayers to seek divine intervention against Nigeria's ongoing security challenges. This appeal was made during a weekly post-Jumu’at special prayer session held at his palace in Zuru, Kebbi State.

Sami noted that the Zuru Emirate has consistently engaged in special prayers for peace since he ascended the throne, highlighting the necessity of spiritual support alongside governmental efforts. He acknowledged the resources and initiatives being implemented by various government levels to combat insecurity but stressed that the persistence of these challenges necessitates citizens' sincere prayers.

Sami's renewed appeal was also influenced by Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris's commitment to addressing insecurity and fostering sustainable development. He urged the residents of Zuru Emirate and Kebbi State to continue supporting and praying for the governor, emphasizing the importance of collective support for his administration's efforts toward peaceful coexistence and socio-economic wellbeing.
