Kebbi Governor Nasir Idris Submits APC Nomination Form

On Monday, Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris formally submitted his nomination form to the All Progressives Congress (APC) for a second term in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The submission occurred at the Sheraton Abuja Hotel, where Suleiman Argungu received the form on behalf of the party.

During the event, Argungu commended Governor Idris for his leadership style, particularly in infrastructure and human development, expressing confidence in the party's chances in Kebbi State. Deputy Governor Abubakar Umar Tafida also expressed gratitude to the party leadership for their support and reaffirmed the administration's commitment to ongoing development projects across the state.

Governor Idris emphasized his focus on consolidating the achievements made since assuming office. The event was attended by key party stakeholders and government officials, including former lawmakers and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu.
