Kebbi Government and Police Deny Bomb and Helicopter Involvement in Hospital Explosion

The Kebbi State Government and Police have refuted claims of a bomb or helicopter attack in the recent explosion at Bagudo General Hospital. Preliminary investigations revealed the blast in the hospital staff quarters was caused by a gas cylinder-induced fire, with no loss of life.

The Kebbi State Police Command's spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed the explosion resulted in a fire due to an air conditioning refrigerant gas cylinder. Authorities urge the public to avoid spreading unverified reports to prevent panic.
