Phyna, the winner of the Big Brother Naija 'Level Up' edition, reacted to advice given by her colleague Tochi regarding financial challenges faced by former housemates. In her response on 𝕏, Phyna expressed skepticism about the expectation that BBNaija stars should embrace a celebrity status and wait for brand deals.

She criticized the notion that success is measured solely by the number and value of brand deals secured by ex-housemates. Phyna argued that many deals may not be as profitable as publicly stated, leaving some former contestants with only bragging rights after management fees are deducted.
