Kelechi Iheanacho Scores Again, Extends Streak for Bursaspor

Kelechi Iheanacho scored in the 50th minute during Bursaspor's 4-2 victory over Keçiörengücü on October 25, marking his 16th league goal this season and extending his scoring streak to 12 consecutive matches in the Turkish 1. Lig.

This achievement occurred at Aktepe Stadium, where Bursaspor initially faced a challenging match, with Keçiörengücü taking an early lead through an own goal. Iheanacho's goal restored Bursaspor's lead after a back-and-forth first half.

His consistent performance has made him a crucial part of Bursaspor's attacking strategy since joining the club. Despite his impressive club form, Iheanacho's situation with the Super Eagles has been complicated, as he was not included in the squad for recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches.

With the national team set to resume their qualifying campaign against Tanzania in November, his scoring record may influence his selection.
