Kenneth Okonkwo Accuses APC of Intimidating Opposition Ahead of 2027 Elections

Nollywood actor and politician Kenneth Okonkwo has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of employing security agencies and political thugs to intimidate opposition parties in Nigeria before the 2027 general elections. Okonkwo, a former chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), claimed that the APC is resorting to various tactics to harass and destabilize opposition parties, including disrupting meetings and deploying suspected thugs to protect security agencies.

He warned that such actions undermine democracy and violate electoral laws. Despite the challenges, Okonkwo expressed optimism in ADC's chances for the 2027 elections, emphasizing the need to build a strong grassroots movement to defeat the APC.
