Festus Keyamo Leads Inspection of Uyo Airport for International Upgrade

Festus Keyamo, leading a high-powered federal government technical committee, inspected the Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo as part of the upgrade process to achieve full international status. The inspection, coordinated by the Ministry of Aviation, involved key officials like Dr.

Yakubu Adamu Kofarmata and Capt. Chris Najomo from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

Governor Udom Emmanuel commended the government's commitment to the airport's upgrade and expressed readiness to cooperate. The team aims to fast-track outstanding actions to ensure the airport's full international operation by April 1, 2026.
