Keyamo Advocates for Nigeria's ICAO Council Re-election

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, called for support for Nigeria's re-election into the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council during the 42nd Assembly in Montreal, Canada. Keyamo emphasized Nigeria's commitment to the objectives of ICAO, focusing on infrastructure modernization, regulatory reform, and capacity building in the aviation sector.

He highlighted Nigeria's contributions to regional and international aviation safety and connectivity. Nigeria hosts the Regional Safety Oversight Organization Banjul Accord Group Aviation Safety Oversight Organization (BAGASOO) and remains a major contributor to aviation safety initiatives in Africa.

Keyamo's statement underscored Nigeria's efforts to meet global aviation standards and enhance regional and international connectivity.
