Festus Keyamo Urges Nigeria to Invest in Workforce for Global Aviation Competitiveness

Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation, stressed the importance of investing in human capital for Nigeria to stay competitive in the global aviation sector during the 54th Annual General Meeting of the Nigeria Air Traffic Control Association (NATCA) in Abuja. The Ministry aims to strengthen workforce capacity and foster innovation in the aviation industry.

Keyamo highlighted ongoing measures to address workforce shortages, particularly in air traffic control, including recalling retired personnel and developing new capacities through institutions like the Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management (IBUAM).
