King's College Marks 106th Inter-house Sports Event

King's College, a 116-year-old boys' institution in Lagos, celebrated its 106th Inter-house Sports event, emphasizing the importance of resilience and sports in education. Principal Mr.

Magaji Zachari called for support from stakeholders to achieve the college's goals and enhance talent development. He noted that despite limited resources, the college has ensured students are fully exposed to its core mandate of teaching and learning through sports.

Zachari praised the contributions of the teachers and the Parent Forum, which were crucial for the event's success. The chairman of the School-Based Management Committee, Mr.

William Uko, expressed delight at the competitive atmosphere and the bond among alumni. He noted improvements over the years and emphasized the need for alumni to support the college.

The chairman of the Parent Teacher Association, Mr. Peter Oluwaley, highlighted the commitment to improving the welfare of students.

The event showcased sportsmanship and friendship, with Hyde Johnson House emerging as the winner.
