Ruby House Wins Benford Inter-House Sports in Abuja

Ruby House won the Benford International School Inter-House Sports event, scoring 189.2 points, ahead of Sapphire House with 187.2 points and Zircon House with 168.2 points. The event took place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium and attracted 2,000 participants.

Benaoyagha Okoyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized the importance of sports in children's physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership development. He called for support in developing sports infrastructure, including a modern swimming pool, as part of a N250 million project.

Beatric Okoyen, the event's proprietress, highlighted the significance of teamwork and sportsmanship, urging students to compete fairly. Special guest Agbedi Yeitiemon Frederick commended the school's vision for investing in sports infrastructure.

The event featured various sports, including football, basketball, and athletics, and included a march past and novelty races, showcasing the talents of young Nigerians.
