Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Condoles Late Kogi Governor's Family

On September 22, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central in the Senate, visited the family of the late Ibrahim Idris, who served as governor of Kogi State from 2003 to 2012 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). During her visit, she expressed her condolences, stating that Idris's passing created a gap that would be felt beyond Kogi State.

Akpoti-Uduaghan addressed the children, grandchildren, relatives, friends, and political associates of the deceased, encouraging them to remain united in their grief. She reflected on the responsibilities of leaders and the legacies they leave behind, urging residents to set aside political differences during the mourning period and support the Idris family.

She concluded her remarks with a prayer for Idris and for his family to find the strength to cope with their loss.
