Kogi State Government Supports Burial of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris

The family of the late former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, has expressed appreciation to the Kogi State Government for its support following his recent death. The head of the family, Alhaji Haruna Idris, made this statement during a meeting with the burial committee formed by Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, chaired by Deputy Governor Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo.

Alhaji Haruna thanked Governor Ododo for the respect shown to the late governor, particularly the government's commitment to fully manage the burial arrangements. Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo described Alhaji Ibrahim Idris's death as a significant loss to Kogi State, noting his respect and love among the populace.

He assured the family that the government would collaborate with them to ensure a dignified burial. Following the meeting, a closed-door session was held to discuss burial arrangements, attended by various senior government officials, including the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, and others.
