Kogi Polytechnic Signs MOU with FUL to Commence Degree Programmes

Kogi State Polytechnic in Lokoja has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Federal University Lokoja to commence degree programmes starting on August 24. The agreement, signed on August 22, 2025, will see the establishment of a Study Centre at the Polytechnic's Main Campus to offer regular undergraduate degree programmes.

This initiative aims to provide interested applicants with the opportunity to apply for available courses through UTME or Direct Entry modes. The MoU also includes provisions for staff and student exchange programmes, equipment sharing, practicals, joint research, and collaborative learning initiatives.

Both institutions expressed excitement over the partnership, with the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic highlighting the historic significance of the agreement. The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja emphasized that the collaboration would advance education in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

The signing of the MoU was witnessed by principal officers and management staff from both institutions.
