Kogi Students Back Tinubu and Ododo for 2027 Elections

Students from various tertiary institutions in Kogi State have declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. This initiative, organized under the Jagaban/Ododo Students Mandate 2027, includes the inauguration of Campus Ambassadors across 12 institutions to foster civic engagement and student participation in governance.

Usman Ibrahimnyass Dende, the Coordinator of the Jagaban/Ododo Students Mandate 2027, stated that these ambassadors would engage students on critical issues such as education, youth development, and economic policies. The initiative aims to improve students' understanding of government programs and encourage their participation in the democratic process.

Dende highlighted the federal government's interventions, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which has benefited over 1.5 million students. He also praised Governor Ododo's administration for its commitment to education and infrastructure development in Kogi State.
