Actor Kunle Afod is concentrating on his professional responsibilities amidst an online dispute involving his estranged wife, Desola Afod, and actress Wumi Toriola. Afod posted a video on Instagram showcasing his work, where he mentioned being invited to discuss challenges faced by crew members in the film industry.

This post coincided with ongoing tensions between Desola and Wumi, stemming from Desola's comments about respect and how actors should address one another, particularly regarding her age. Desola, who claims to be 44, expressed her frustration over being addressed by her first name without acknowledgment of her status.

Wumi criticized Desola's remarks as disrespectful and challenged her to specify who she was addressing. Meanwhile, Kunle Afod shared that he would be addressing industry issues at the TAMPAN Guilds Retreat 2026, organized by the TAMPAN Guild of Directors and the TAMPAN Guild of Cinematographers.
