Kunle Afod discusses separation from Desola Afod

Kunle Afod, a Nollywood actor and filmmaker, has publicly addressed his separation from his wife, Desola Afod, known as Celeb Wife, for the first time. In an interview with Kasnasty Sugar on YouTube, published on November 5, 2026, he attributed the separation to his demanding job, which leaves little time for home life.

He mentioned that jealousy and suspicion of cheating can strain marriages but did not provide specific details about his own relationship. Afod expressed that women often struggle to tolerate behaviors they exhibit themselves and discussed perceived double standards in relationships.

He did not accuse Desola of any wrongdoing. Reports of marital issues surfaced in February 2026, following claims that Desola had moved out of their home.
