NNPP Denies Reports of Kwankwaso's Defection Negotiations with APC

The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) has refuted claims suggesting that its leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso, engaged in discussions with the All Progressives Congress (APC) to defect. Reports alleging negotiations between Kwankwaso and APC, particularly involving joining forces with Bola Tinubu, were dismissed by NNPP.

Baba Yusuf, the Chief Executive Officer of a global investment and trade company, described Kwankwaso as misjudging his political leverage. Ladipo Johnson, NNPP's National Public Secretary, denied the claims of Kwankwaso contemplating defection to APC, labeling them as lies to discredit Kwankwaso, who is portrayed as a man of integrity with the public's interest at heart.
