Kwankwaso Seeks Reconciliation with Kano Governor Yusuf

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress and former Governor of Kano State, stated his openness to reconcile with current Governor Abba Yusuf. In a recent interview with Hausa Service, Kwankwaso addressed the deterioration of their relationship, which soured after Yusuf, a former supporter of the Kwankwasiyya movement, defected to the All Progressives Congress and allied with Abdullahi Ganduje, a significant political rival of Kwankwaso.

Kwankwaso expressed that he still holds affection for Yusuf and is willing to reconcile if Yusuf desires. He emphasized his forgiving nature, recalling his past issues with Ganduje, whom he supported despite their conflicts.

Kwankwaso reiterated that he does not dictate the actions of others and remains active in politics, encouraging patience and compassion in political relationships.
