NNPP Denies Kwankwaso's Alleged Excessive Demands During APC Defection Talks

The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) has denied reports alleging that former APC member Kwankwaso made excessive demands during defection talks with the APC, including a 20% control of the party's structure, a vice presidential slot, and a guaranteed presidential ticket for 2031. NNPP's National Public Secretary, Ladipo Johnson, described the reports as terrible campaign of false accusations aimed at tarnishing Kwankwaso's reputation.

The NNPP emphasized that Kwankwaso's involvement in the talks did not involve such demands. The accusations were reported to have occurred during discussions involving APC's national leader, Bola Tinubu, and other stakeholders.
