Kwara SDP Members Defect to PDP Ahead of 2027 Elections

In Kwara State, members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Patigi Local Government Area have joined the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2027 elections. Led by Hon.

Mayaki Dauda, the defectors praised Dr. Bukola Saraki's leadership and criticized the APC-led administration for allegedly eroding the state's values.

The defectors were received by PDP's State Public Secretary, Mr. Bashir Ashura, who emphasized unity and loyalty to Saraki.

The move aims to secure victory in future elections and restore purposeful governance in Kwara State.
