Kwara APC Candidates Launch Statewide Thank-You Tour

On Saturday, candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, led by the party’s governorship candidate and Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Salihu, commenced a statewide thank-you tour, visiting Ekiti and Oke-Ero Local Government Areas. The delegation included Kwara APC Chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi, party leaders, and support groups.

They paid courtesy visits to traditional rulers, including Oba Saliu Adasofegbe and Oba Samuel Dada. During the tour, Salihu expressed gratitude to residents for their support during the party primaries and urged them to continue backing the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He emphasized the need for party members to mobilize more supporters and build on the achievements of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, particularly in infrastructure and human capital development. Fagbemi highlighted developmental strides in Ekiti, including the establishment of a Kwara State University campus and road reconstruction, urging traditional rulers to support the APC in the upcoming elections.
