Kwara South Monarchs Urge APC Candidates to Deliver

Traditional rulers in the Senatorial District of Kwara State called on candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to justify the confidence placed in them if elected. This appeal was made during a thank-you visit from APC candidates to stakeholders in Kwara South, where Oba Mufutau Lawal, the Onipe of Ipe, represented the monarchs.

He stated that the public expects candidates to exceed the performance of the current government. The traditional rulers offered prayers for the success of the APC in the upcoming 2027 general elections and reaffirmed their support for the party.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq was commended for his developmental efforts in the state. During the visits to Ilemona, Erin-Ile, and Offa, APC Chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi expressed gratitude to the people for their loyalty during the primaries.

He noted that while the APC had concluded its candidate selection process, other political parties were still facing internal crises regarding their candidates.
