Kwara govt committed to strengthening public safety —Abdulrazaq

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State recently visited Babanla in Ifelodun local government area to reassure the community of the government's commitment to strengthening public safety and economic activities. The governor commended the security forces for their efforts and pledged continued support to prevent security breaches.

He also met with community leaders and officials, including the Commander of the 22 Armoured Brigade and the Commissioner of Police, to discuss strategies for maintaining peace and security in the area. The governor expressed satisfaction with the return of calmness to the region and directed the Kwara State Social Investment Programme to provide support to those affected by recent incidents.

The community leaders appreciated the governor's visit and urged the government to utilize the land in Babanla for economic development and job creation to deter criminal activities.
