Kwara State Government and UNFPA Collaborate on Youth Policy Development

The Kwara State government, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is strategizing to create a state youth policy to empower and support the youth in various aspects. Dr.

Mari Ronke Arinola emphasized the need for a coordinated policy framework to tackle issues like unemployment, limited access to education, poor healthcare services, and inadequate civic engagement. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq highlighted the importance of creating an enabling environment for youth development.

The project consultant, Dr. Toriola Femi Adebayo, stressed the significance of the youth policy for the period 2025-2030.
