PDP Demands Probe and Security Summit After Kwara Massacre

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has called for an independent investigation and a security summit in response to the recent massacre in the Woro community of Kwara State. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq confirmed that 75 people were killed in the attack, with reports indicating that the victims, mostly local Muslims, were targeted by extremists.

The PDP criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration for alleged inaction despite prior warnings received by community leaders. The party urged the government to implement a comprehensive strategy to address insecurity, including intelligence sharing and addressing the root causes of banditry and terrorism.

The PDP emphasized the need for proactive measures to prevent further loss of lives and called for immediate humanitarian assistance for the affected communities.
