Kwara PDP Elects New State Officials in Peaceful Congress

The PDP in Kwara State has elected new officials during a state congress in Ilorin. Hon Adamu Bawa Issa emerged as the chairman, with other elected officials including Wasilat Macarthy as deputy chairman and Rev Cornelius Fawenu as treasurer.

The national headquarters of the PDP described the Kwara State congress as a model of desired electoral processes. Former Senate President Bukola Saraki commended the party members for demonstrating maturity and fairness in the internal democratic process.
