Kwara State Shuts Six Schools Over Poor Sanitation and Lack of Toilets

Kwara State Government has shut down six schools in Ilorin due to poor sanitation and inadequate toilet facilities, impacting students' health. The Kwara State Environment Protect Agency (KWEPa) enforced the closure until the schools comply with health standards.

Additionally, 54 street beggars were evacuated to restore public order and hygiene in the state capital. The government emphasizes the importance of maintaining proper sanitation infrastructure in educational institutions to prevent health risks.
