Kwara United Coach Ashifat Confident for New Season

Suleiman Ashifat, the head coach of Kwara United, declared the team fully prepared for the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League season following a 2-0 victory over Crown FC of Ogbomoso in a friendly match. This friendly was organized for supporters to evaluate the team after a three-week preseason tour.

Ashifat emphasized that the league is starting, and there are no excuses for not being ready. Kwara United recently participated in a preseason tournament in Kano, where they finished as runners-up after losing to Ranchers Bees in the final via a penalty shoot-out.

He mentioned that the win against Crown FC is part of the team's ongoing preparations for the new campaign, and he assured that other technical issues would be addressed before the season opener. Ashifat encouraged fans to support the team during their first match against Kano Pillars at the Kwara State Stadium in Ilorin.
