Kwara Governor Vows to Make State Unsafe for Criminals and Kidnappers

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has vowed to make the state unsafe for criminals and kidnappers. Following a recent attack in Oke Ode where 12 residents were killed by armed bandits, the governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to protecting lives and properties across Kwara.

Governor Abdulrazaq briefed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the security situation and requested additional federal deployment to combat criminal elements. Security operations have been intensified, with a joint force of the Army, DSS, and Police neutralizing 15 armed bandits in a recent offensive.

The state government is integrating state and federal assets to enhance security strategies in Kwara North.
