Tinubu Approves Army Brigade Deployment to Combat Kidnappers in Kwara Forests

President Bola Tinubu has authorized the deployment of a full army brigade to tackle the increasing cases of kidnapping and banditry in Kwara State. The deployment is part of a renewed military operation targeting criminal hideouts in Kwara South and Kwara North forests.

The operation involves heavy military equipment and personnel moving into communities like Babanla in Ifelodun local government area. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq commended the military intervention and pledged full support to strengthen security in the state.

The operation is part of Operation Fasan Yanma aimed at eliminating threats in the affected areas of Kwara South and Kwara North.
